Logomotion 2011

Picture
Logo Motion is a game designed to be played on a field by two alliances of three robots each. On each end of the field are two 3 by 3 sets of poles called scoring racks. Robots score points by hanging square, circular, and triangular game tubes on these racks. The higher a robot hangs a tube, the more points its alliance will receive. Bonus points are earned if the game tubes are arranged to form the FIRST logo. During the 15 second autonomous mode at the beginning of each match, each robot is given a yellow circular tube, called an uber tube, that it can hang on its alliance wall for bonus points. Lines on the field as well reflective ends on the poles encourage the use of tracking. During the driver-operated period, tubes hung on the same pole as an uber tube will yield twice as many points. During the last 10 seconds of the match, the robots can deploy minibots that will race to the top of each tower. The first minibot to reach the top of its tower will be awarded 30 bonus points.
