Infinite Fruit Loops: Grade 8 FLL Team
Infinite Fruit Loops selected apples as their food for this year's project challenge! They focused on alternatives to pesticides. For the field work, they built a basic vehicle that was easily modified to attack each field challenge. 3 mentors from FRC Team 2648 who provide guidance and ideas.
The Loops attempted to use light sensors this year as a way to learn a new programming skill. They also were interested in animations, so they learned basic programming to create their project presentation as an animation.
At the Maine State FLL Competition, they had a great showing on the field. Their robot scored more points in one of their rounds than it had at any practice round. The judges were very impressed with their teamwork and their animated presentation.
